Helper Selection Process
What is the Advance Placement Scheme (APS)?
The Advance Placement Scheme is a pilot programme facilitated by the Ministry of Manpower to enable faster deployment of live-in caregivers. Under this scheme, Domestic Worker Management has the opportunity to bring live-in caregivers to Singapore earlier and assist them in finding a placement with a suitable employer. This scheme will enable faster deployment and better patient-caregiver matches through direct, face-to-face interviews during the selection process. Maid Management Service is the first batch chosen by MOM to proceed with the Advance Placement Scheme.
How many helper profiles do you have available?
We maintain a database of over 200 quality helper profiles. This extensive selection ensures that you can find a domestic worker who specifically matches your family’s requirements and preferences.
What nationalities of helpers do you provide?
We specialize in the placement of foreign caregivers and domestic helpers from Indonesia, the Philippines, and Myanmar. Each nationality brings unique strengths and skills to meet your specific household needs.
How do you ensure quality control in your selection process?
We implement three essential quality control measures:
1) We personally interview and select domestic workers, then put them through intensive residential training to assess competence.
2) We carefully match helpers to your family’s specific requirements.
3) We provide professional counselling support if any issues arise during employment.
Training and Preparation
Do you provide training for the helpers?
Yes, we have our own dedicated training center where all our helpers undergo thorough preparation. They receive training specifically designed to accustom them to Singapore culture and household requirements, ensuring a smoother transition into your home.
What specialized skills can your helpers provide?
Our helpers can be trained in various specializations including caregiving, childcare, infant care, elderly care, and general housekeeping. We match helpers with specialized skills to meet your specific household needs.

What additional services do you provide for employers?
As our valued client, you enjoy access to our comprehensive range of services including problem-solving assistance, work permit renewals, and travel and documentary arrangements for your domestic worker’s home leave. These services are available for as long as you employ a domestic helper from us.
What happens if there are issues with my domestic helper?
We provide dedicated support and professional counselling to help resolve any issues that may arise. Each client is assigned a dedicated service consultant who is committed to ensuring a successful working relationship between you and your domestic helper.
What is your replacement policy?
